Stephen’s practice includes all aspects of intellectual property law with a focus on preparing and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, particularly for the high technology industry. Prior to law school, Stephen worked for several years in both North America and Asia as an engineer at a large multi-national semi-conductor company. While working towards an electrical engineering degree from the University of Waterloo, Stephen gained diverse industry experience through several technical internships.

Stephen draws on his industry and intellectual property law experiences to assist clients in evaluating technology and obtaining valuable intellectual property rights.
